Calibrating image precision for Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT

The sheer scale and color of Rift Apart are mind-blowing when the hardware actually works. The Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT with 16G VRAM handles 4K easily, but FSR was introducing some annoying edge aliasing and sampling artifacts, making character outlines flicker. I first tried switching FSR to Native, but my FPS plummeted from 90 down to 42, which was a total non-starter. I had to find a middle ground. I went into the driver panel and cranked Radeon Image Sharpening from the default 20% up to 65%, while locking the in-game resolution scale at 85%. Using a frame comparison tool, the edges became significantly sharper and about 90% of the artifacts disappeared. I actually overdid it at first, creating these ugly white halos around objects, so I backed it off to 62% for the sweet spot. Core temps are stable at 64℃ - 70℃ with fans at 1400 RPM. The image is finally crisp, though FSR still feels a bit hit-or-miss in fast scenes.
