How to fix high-frequency tearing in Need for Speed with RTX 5080?
When you're hitting 300 km/h through neon streets, that visual flow is everything, but these horizontal tear lines were ruining it—felt like watching a corrupted movie. The GDDR7 on the Manli RTX 5080 OC has insane bandwidth, but the frame delivery was totally out of sync with my monitor. I first tried in-game V-Sync, but input lag jumped to over 40ms, making the steering feel like I was driving through mud. Absolute disaster. I switched to the NVIDIA Control Panel, enabled G-Sync Compatible mode, and capped the global frame rate at 141 FPS (3 frames below my refresh rate).
