Zhitai Ti600 NVMe Queue Tuning
It was maddening to see my YMTC Zhitai Ti600 2TB write speed plummet from 4000MB/s to 800MB/s during Need for Speed asset streaming. I tried lowering the queue depth to 512, thinking it would help, but CrystalDiskMark showed latency remained high and stuttering persisted. I realized the SLC cache was overflowing due to default settings. Using the GamePP NVMe Configuration tool, I locked the queue depth to 1024. Verification via CrystalDiskMark showed write speeds recovering to 3800MB/s, with GamePP NVMe Monitor confirming drive temps at 45-50℃. The loading screens became instant, and I finally exported a config that works.
