Stabilizing Emulator Frametimes
Trying high-res patches in the emulator, the micro-stutters from low memory frequency made me excited to fix it immediately. I tried forcing an overclock to 3000MHz in BIOS, but the system suffered frequent memory checksum errors and crashes—a total waste of time. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to force the emulator process memory priority to Realtime mode and optimized the page file size. RTSS monitoring showed frame times converged to 12-16ms, while AIDA64 showed temps at 40-46℃ and HWInfo64 noted 85-92% controller utilization.
