Fixing Large City Visual Tearing
As my manor grew to thousands of people, the horizontal tearing lines became an eyesore, ruining the experience. I tried enabling in-game V-Sync, but input lag spiked to 60ms per GamePP, making building commands feel heavy and frustrating. I used the GamePP Frame Time Analyzer to lock the sync interval at 16.6ms and used RTSS to cap the frame rate at 60. The frame generation curve became a flat line in RTSS, moving from 12-22ms to a steady 16.6ms. AIDA64 confirmed GPU temperature remained 64-70℃, and GamePP showed a stable GPU load of 85%.
