Should I lock memory timings for Enshrouded on a Soyo H510M?

The moment the fog clears, my FPS tanks from 70 down to 30. It was infuriating, but it helped me find the culprit. The default timings on the Soyo SY-King Dragon H510M were causing sync delays of 15,0 - 22,0ms when handling massive environmental datasets, making the minimum FPS fluctuate wildly. I tried lowering the graphics settings, but the game looked like a blurred mess—not an option. I went into the BIOS and forced the memory frequency to 2666MHz, bumped the SOC voltage from 1,1V to 1,15V, and manually set the primary timings to 16-18-18-36. Using a frame time analyzer, the jitter dropped from 18,0 - 45,0ms down to a tight 8,0 - 12,0ms. The game feels buttery smooth now. I actually tried pushing it to 3200MHz at first, but the system just hard-locked on the loading screen. I had to settle for 2666MHz for actual stability. RAM temps are stable at 42,0 - 48,0°C. The frame curve is finally flat.
