Stabilize i9 13900K in ELDEN RING
Combat was a nightmare with screen stutters and the CPU hitting 95℃ per GamePP. I tried manual overclocking, but it led to a blue screen, which was a painful trial-and-error process. The frequency was dropping to 4.8GHz under load. I used GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Guide to adjust the LL voltage to L3 mode. Stress tests confirmed the frequency stabilized at 5.8GHz and temperature dropped to 82℃. Frame rate improved from 80 to 110 FPS. This switch to L3 mode finally tamed the heat.
