Fixing shader cache issues in Dead Space
Playing the isolation zone at night was terrifying, but the screen flickering broke the immersion completely. I first tried lowering the ray tracing settings, but the frame time remained volatile between 18-35ms according to GamePP Hardware Sensor. Then I used the GamePP Shader Compile Queue Manager to clear the 6.8GB shader cache and updated the driver to Studio 560.94. The 3DMark path tracing benchmark confirmed the rendering errors were gone. Frame time stabilized at 13-16ms, and the VRAM temperature stayed at 62-68℃. It finally feels like a proper horror game again.
