Stabilizing Voltage in BioShock 4
Exploring Rapture City, my screen went black for two seconds followed by intense frame drops, completely ruining the immersion. I attempted manual overclocking to 5.0GHz, which resulted in a system blue screen and restart, proving that aggressive tuning without voltage control is dangerous. I switched to GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to lock voltage at 1.20V and set frequency to 4.8GHz. GamePP Hardware Sensor showed voltage stability within 1.15-1.22V range. Cinebench R23 multi-core test confirmed a stable score of 18000 points, ensuring the CPU no longer throttles during heavy narrative calculations.
