Optimizing NVMe Queue for Raft
I was excited to test my new Sapphire PULSE RX 9070 XT 16G, but racing scenes had 12-20ms frame times. I tried enabling AHCI mode in BIOS, which hurt performance instead of helping. It was a frustrating mistake. I accessed GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increasing the depth from 512 to 2048 and switching power management to High Performance. RTSS monitoring showed frame generation converging to 8-10ms. Drive temperature stayed stable at 45-50°C. The switch to high performance made all the difference.
