Eliminating Frame Drops
While exploring as a Rover, the screen suddenly stuttered, with frame rates plummeting from 110 to 42 FPS per RTSS, which felt like a punch to the gut. I first tried lowering the game graphics to reduce load; while FPS rose slightly, the image became grainy and stutters persisted, which was a disappointing compromise. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock the system into High Performance mode and disabled core parking. Frame generation time converged to 8-14ms per RTSS, and CPU core temperatures stabilized at 70-76℃ per AIDA64, with memory at 42-48℃.
