Resolving SSD Thermal Throttling in Titanfall
Loading open maps in Titanfall (Rumored) felt sluggish; my Great Wall GW3500 512GB M.2 NVMe spiked to 75℃ per AIDA64, halving my frame rate from 120 to 60 FPS. I tried balanced power mode, which cooled the drive but dropped performance further to 45 FPS, a painful trade-off. Using GamePP Hardware Sensor Page, I increased monitoring frequency to 0.5s and reapplied high-conductivity thermal paste. AIDA64 confirmed the SSD temperature stabilized at 58℃, while HWiNFO64 showed fan speeds holding at 1200-1400 RPM.
