How to fix memory instability on Biostar H310MHD3 for Valorant?
That jarring 0.3-second freeze right when you're about to fire is the absolute worst. I realized the Biostar H310MHD3 was struggling with high-frequency RAM compatibility. At 2666MHz, the memory controller latency was swinging between 88-115ns, causing micro-blockages in data exchange. I tried increasing the virtual memory to 32GB first, but that was a waste of time—it didn't stop the stutters and actually added 4 seconds to my load times. I went back into the BIOS and ditched the 'Auto' settings, manually locking the primary timings to 16-18-18-38 and bumping the DRAM voltage from 1.2V to 1.35V. Using AIDA64, I saw the latency drop from 95ns to a consistent 78-82ns, and the game finally stopped hitching. It wasn't a smooth ride, though; I got three BSODs while trying to tighten the timings too far until I loosened tRAS to 40. Memory temps sat at 40-46℃ and the southbridge was around 50-56℃. After 6 cycles of MemTest86 with zero errors, I can finally play without the fear of a random freeze.
