Eliminating VRAM Latency
While sneaking through colony ruins, quick turns caused jarring horizontal screen tearing that felt incredibly unstable. I first tried forcing V-Sync in the driver, but input lag spiked to over 65ms, making the controls feel heavy and unresponsive. I employed the GamePP DLSS/FSR Image Sampling Calibrator to fine-tune the rendering scale to 96% with 70% sharpening. PresentMon showed frame times converging to a stable 11-15ms, and HWiNFO confirmed VRAM temperatures stabilized at 55-62℃, while GPU-Z showed core temps at 72-82℃.
