Optimizing VRM Thermal Control
Walking through the neon-lit city space station was a nightmare when my frame rate suddenly crashed from 50 to 20. I first tried limiting the CPU's maximum power in the system settings; although it shaved 10℃ off, the game became a sluggish slideshow, which was deeply depressing. I then accessed the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration and forced the chassis fans to 90% speed once they hit 60℃. HWiNFO showed VRM temperatures dropped from a scorching 98-105℃ down to 72-78℃, and AIDA64 confirmed CPU cores stayed cool at 68-75℃ during peak loads.
