Fixing Seagate FireCuda 530 500GB thermal drops in RDR2?
Scene loading suddenly went from instant to an eternity, and this performance dive was brutal with 4K high-res textures active. Looking at the logs, the Seagate FireCuda 530 500GB was hitting 74℃ - 82℃ under heavy load via AIDA64, triggering a hard thermal throttle that tanked speeds from 7000 MB/s down to a pathetic 2000 MB/s. I tried enabling power-saving mode in the BIOS first, but that was a joke—speeds stabilized, but loading times increased by 10 seconds. Not a real fix. I switched to the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and forced the bottom chassis fans to 100% once the drive hit 60℃.
