Managing Thermal Spikes
While jumping between dimensions, my CPU temperature would rocket from 60℃ to 85℃ in a second, causing sudden frequency drops that ruined the experience. I first tried setting the fans to full speed in BIOS; while it hit 78℃, the pump resonance noise was deafening at night and completely unacceptable. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to set a 70℃ aggressive trigger, pushing fans to 2800 RPM when hitting 75-83℃. Cinebench R23 tests locked the max temp at 78-83℃ per AIDA64, and the coolant temperature remained at 38-42℃ per GamePP Sensor, ensuring a stable clock via HWiNFO64.
