Fixing Storage Write Drops
Building an automated factory felt like a chore as the screen would twitch annoyingly every time I placed buildings. I first tried formatting the drive and changing the allocation unit size, but it did absolutely nothing for the stuttering. I then launched the GamePP Resource Scheduler and boosted the storage write process priority to High. The results were instant: write latency converged to 12-18ms per GamePP, and SSD temps stayed between 52-58℃ per HWMonitor, while CrystalDiskMark showed speeds returning to 3000MB/s.
