Optimizing RAM for High Speed
While speeding through neon streets, I felt a distinct sequential lag in texture loading that ruined the thrill of speed. I tried increasing virtual memory to 32GB, but this caused disk I/O conflicts and dropped my FPS from 65 to 48, which was completely counterproductive. I then used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Guide to lower primary timings to 16-18-18-36 and raised voltage from 1.2V to 1.35V via BIOS. AIDA64 showed latency dropped to 74-78ns, and HWiNFO confirmed RAM temperatures stayed stable at 42-48℃ during the run.
