Fixing data throughput drops on Zhitai TiPro9000 2TB?
It was honestly jarring to see a massive landscape suddenly turn into a blurry mess of pixels; I knew immediately my storage pipeline was choking. The Zhitai TiPro9000 is great until the SLC cache fills up, then the speed plummets from 7000MB/s to a pathetic 400-600MB/s, leaving the VRAM starving for assets. I tried running a defrag tool first—which was a total rookie mistake since it's an SSD and just wasted write cycles—leaving me feeling pretty frustrated. I eventually grabbed the latest manufacturer tool, flashed the firmware, and ensured my partitions were 4K aligned. In AIDA64, my sequential reads now hold steady at 6500-6800MB/s without that cliff-dive drop. The process wasn't seamless; my motherboard BIOS was so outdated the drive disappeared entirely after the update, forcing me to flash the BIOS just to get it back. Idle temps are 35-41℃, peaking at 62-68℃ under load. Everything loads in now, and the pop-in is gone.
