Solving Voltage Fluctuations
While infiltrating bases in MGSV, rapid camera cuts caused my frame rate to plummet from 144 to 40 FPS, totally ruining the stealth vibe. I mistakenly assumed it was XMP instability and lowered memory frequency from 6000 to 5200MHz, but the drops persisted. The GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard revealed VRM fluctuations of 0.05-0.12V. After a failed attempt to lock voltage at 1.35V caused a BSOD, I switched to Medium LLC and set VCCSA to 1.22V. Cinebench and HWiNFO64 confirmed core frequencies stabilized from 3.8-4.7 GHz to a steady 4.4-4.6 GHz.
