Eliminating Local Hotspots
While executing dungeon missions, the screen would tear whenever skill effects filled the view, which was incredibly distracting. I first tried increasing the chassis intake airflow, but the noise spiked while CPU temperatures barely budged per AIDA64, leaving me feeling helpless. Using the GamePP Hardware Sensor page to locate the hotspot, I forced the fan from 1100-1300 to 2000 RPM and tightened the cooler brackets. The frame time analyzer showed a convergence to 13-16ms, and HWMonitor confirmed temperatures stabilized at 64-69℃.
