How to fix the Hellblade 2 runtime DLL crash loop forever?
I tried two paths here. Plan A was just reinstalling the VC++ Redistributables, which did absolutely nothing. For Plan B, I went into the system root directory and ran the repair tools under administrator mode while wiping registry residues. Under [Log-Run-2026-B] measuring via 3DMark, the memory controller load latency dropped from 0.42s - 0.68s to a tight 0.28s - 0.35s. The 0x0000005 memory access violation errors in the system logs vanished completely. That cliff-like stutter during loads is gone, and the game boots 5s - 8s faster. Heads up though: if you have aggressive third-party overlays running, there is still a tiny chance of a compatibility crash—the runtime is healthy, but the software conflicts are a different nightmare.
