Samsung 990 PRO Thermal Fix
During high-difficulty raids, my frames plummeted from 120 to 45 after two hours, causing visible texture lag that was incredibly frustrating. I tried installing a small case fan to blow directly on the SSD; temps dropped 5℃ per HWiNFO, but frame drops still occurred randomly, proving physical cooling wasn't the answer. I used GamePP Power Plan Switcher to disable PCIe Link State Power Management and locked it to High Performance. Now, read/write speeds are a constant 7000MB/s via CrystalDiskMark, latency is 12-18ms per AIDA64, and temps sit at 55-62℃ per AIDA64.
