Eliminating Gears 5 Micro-stutters
During fast transitions between cover, I experienced sudden micro-stutters that felt fatal in a competitive multiplayer environment. I initially tried lowering the graphics settings to reduce load; while FPS increased by 10, the stuttering persisted, leaving me feeling helpless. I then used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock the system into Ultimate Performance mode and disabled C-State in the BIOS. RTSS monitoring showed frame times converging from 15-42ms to 11-16ms, with VRM temperatures stable at 58-64℃ per HWiNFO and voltage locked at 1.25V per HWiNFO, ending the 3.1-3.6GHz oscillation seen in CPU-Z.
