Fixing Midgar Visual Glitches
Walking through Midgar was a nightmare because of this eerie white flickering on building edges that destroyed the cinematic vibe. I tried lowering the resolution to 2K, which reduced the flicker, but the image became a blurry mess. I finally used the GamePP Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to set the VRAM voltage to 1.38V per HWInfo and optimized the fan curve. After a 3DMark stress test, AIDA64 confirmed VRAM temperatures were suppressed to 80-84℃, and the flickering completely vanished while the clock stayed at 1800-1900 MHz per GPU-Z.
