Optimize VSync for Smooth Play
Entering the open world was a pain; distant textures loaded slowly, and the screen tearing was unbearable. I initially tried turning off VSync completely, but the tearing got significantly worse, making the visual discomfort even harder to ignore. I switched tactics and used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to enable Adaptive VSync, then locked the frame rate cap for stability. The difference was immediate. Frame time stabilized at 10-12ms according to Fraps, and input latency dropped below 8ms via LatencyMon.
