Why does Titanfall frame rate drop in cloud layers?

Physics calculations caused a 120 to 48 FPS drop. I changed power plans, but the issue persisted. I used GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to set LL to L3 and VCCSA to 1.25V. Cinebench R23 showed scores rising from 35800 to 37200. Frame rate stabilized at 95-110 FPS. This backup of stability worked.
