Solving CPU Thermal Throttling
While trekking through snowy mountains with a heavy load, I saw my CPU temp rocket from 60℃ to 92℃ in seconds, causing the game to stutter violently. I tried enabling 'Maximum Performance' mode in the BIOS, but the fan noise sounded like a helicopter taking off while temps still lingered around 85-90℃. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to move the 70℃ threshold to 85% and tightened the temperature response time. AIDA64 confirmed temperatures stabilized between 68-75℃, and GamePP showed fan speeds steady at 1400-1600RPM, with HWiNFO64 showing 3.1-4.4GHz.
