Eliminating CPU Heat Accumulation
As my city grew with high-precision MODs, I noticed the core temperature hovering around 96℃ per AIDA64, causing the CPU to bounce erratically between 4.2GHz and 2.8GHz. I tried adding three intake fans to the front of the chassis, but the temperature only dropped by 3℃, which felt like a futile, superficial fix. Using the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel, I forced the fan speed to 1300 RPM for anything above 70℃. AIDA64 stress tests showed temperatures dropping to 80-84℃, and HWiNFO64 confirmed power stable at 160-180W.
