Is the Thermalright PA120 SE failing to cool BioShock 4?
Seeing my core temps finally drop from a scorching 92°C back to a chilly 75°C was a massive relief; the silence and cool air made me realize how botched my previous config was. During some intense firefights in BioShock 4, my CPU was constantly hitting the thermal wall, causing clocks to tank from 4.5GHz to 3.2GHz, which felt like a slideshow. I tried cranking up the case fans manually, but the Thermalright PA120 SE fans were way too sluggish on the default curve to handle sudden heat spikes.
