Fixing BF2042 Combat Stuttering
While pushing through a vast battlefield, my smooth movement suddenly turned into severe frame drops during dense explosions, which is absolutely fatal in a shooter. I first tried lowering texture quality in game settings, but the visuals became blurry while the stuttering persisted, making the attempt feel meaningless. I then accessed GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increased the queue depth to 128, and enabled high-performance write mode. 4K random reads rose to 65-72 MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, latency dropped to 20-55ms via GamePP, and temps hit 48-56℃ per HWMonitor.
