Tuning B760M RAM Performance
Walking into large maps in AC Shadows was a nightmare; the screen stuttered like a slideshow because the default 40-40-40-76 timings were too conservative. I tried increasing the page file to 32GB, but that backfired, dropping my FPS from 78 to 61. Frustrated, I used GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Adjuster to lower timings to 36-38-38-72 and bump voltage to 1.30V. AIDA64 showed memory latency dropping from 102-115ns to a snappy 76-82ns. MemTest86 confirmed zero errors over 6 loops, and RAM temps stayed cool at 46-52°C. It's the only way to fix this bottleneck.
