Upgrading ADATA DDR4 for Faster Loads
Switching maps in Rule the Waves 3 was a pain. My 4GB ADATA ValueRAM DDR4 2400 kept triggering page file swaps, stretching load times from 5s to 15s. I tried increasing virtual memory in the OS, but it only made the loading process longer. It was a dead end. I used the GamePP Hardware Sensor to monitor the memory usage curve and confirmed the capacity limit. I upgraded the RAM to 8GB and fine-tuned the frequency. GamePP Benchmark confirmed the load time dropped to 4 seconds. The memory temperature stayed stable at 45-50℃. The fan speed was 1200-1400 RPM.
