Fixing FPS instability on Colorful GT1030 Gold Edition?
The moment abilities started flying, my FPS tanked from 120 down to 45, which is a complete nightmare for a tactical shooter. I panicked and checked the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page, seeing the GPU clock bouncing between 1100-1300 MHz while the voltage was unstable at 0.8-0.9V due to a lazy power plan. I tried dropping the resolution to 720p, but the game became a blurry mess and I couldn't even aim, which drove me absolutely insane. I then used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock the system into Ultimate Performance mode and killed all CPU energy-saving states. RTSS showed frame times dropping from 18-40ms to a much tighter 12-18ms, making teamfights feel way more fluid.
