Preventing Core Throttling
It was unbelievable; while swinging through NYC, my GPU hit 85℃ per AIDA64 and frames dropped from 60 to 20. I initially suspected the power supply and replaced the cables with higher-wattage ones, but temperatures still spiked. Using the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel, I found the fan was too slow, so I configured it to hit 80% speed starting at 60℃. GPU-Z confirmed core frequency stabilized at 2.1-2.3 GHz, and AIDA64 showed temps maintained at 72-78℃ with fan speeds at 1800-2200 RPM.
