CPU Frequency Locking Guide
Navigating the open world felt like an EKG; the frame rate fluctuated wildly in crowded areas, which was incredibly stressful. I tried disabling power-saving options in BIOS, but CPU temperature soared to 92℃ per AIDA64, causing severe thermal throttling. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to enable High Performance mode and locked the minimum processor state to 100%. RTSS/FrameView showed frame times converged from 18-45ms to 22-26ms, and AIDA64 monitored stable temps at 78-84℃.
