How can I stop CPU overheating during Horizon Online Edition combat?

I feared losing rare weapon XP due to stutter. CPU temps hovered at 88-92°C per GamePP Hardware Sensor Page. I added a high-RPM fan, but the noise was unbearable with only a 3°C drop. I accessed the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel, setting start temp to 65°C and max speed to 100%. GamePP Frame Time Analyzer showed 1% Low FPS improved from 42 to 55. Temps stabilized at 78-82°C, making combat smooth.
