Why does Gray Zone drop from 80 to 40 FPS during jungle fights?

While sneaking up on enemy positions, my frame rate would suddenly drop from 80 to 40, which is a fatal flaw in a tactical shooter. I tried enabling Extreme Performance mode in BIOS, but while I gained 5 FPS, the CPU temperature spiked to 92℃ per CoreTemp, which made me anxious. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set the game process priority to Real-time and locked the core frequency. Frame generation time converged to 12-16ms per RTSS, and CPU temps stabilized at 68-75℃ per CoreTemp.
