How to kill the pump whine on Cooler Master B360 Core ARGB?
Every time the action heated up, all I could hear was this piercing whine from the B360 Core ARGB. It was genuinely anxiety-inducing. I tried lowering the pump speed to 60% in the software, but that was a disaster—my CPU hit 95°C in three minutes and the PC just shut itself off. Absolute nightmare. I gave up on PWM dynamic control entirely and went into the BIOS to force the pump header to 'Full Speed' (DC/Full Voltage mode), locking it at 100%. Ironically, keeping it at a constant max speed killed the resonance and the whining stopped completely. Monitoring via HWMonitor, the CPU stayed between 64-71°C and the coolant temp sat at 38-42°C. I wasted half an hour messing with the radiator fan curves thinking they were the problem, but that did absolutely nothing. GPU temps stayed around 62-67°C and the airflow felt way more consistent. I used a noise analysis app to confirm the high-frequency peaks were gone. The game feels snappy and my ears aren't bleeding anymore.
