Improving Random Read Speed
Every time I rotated the view quickly while expanding my farm, I hit these anxiety-inducing micro-stutters. I initially tried enabling Extreme Performance mode in BIOS, but the SSD temperature spiked to 72℃ per HWInfo, triggering thermal throttling. I switched to GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, setting the depth to 128. Now, random reads are stable at 62-70 MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, with temps sitting at 55-62℃ per HWInfo.
