Fixing CPU Scheduling Latency
I felt totally robbed of immersion while speeding through the Oregon wilderness; every time I hit a new area, the game would just hitch. I initially tried enabling Extreme Performance mode in the BIOS, but it was a disaster—my minimum FPS actually dropped from 42 to 35 per RTSS, making the movement feel even jerkier. I finally used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to elevate the game process priority from Normal to High and killed useless background services. RTSS confirmed frame times converged to 12-16ms, while HWMonitor showed CPU temps stable at 64-71℃ and AIDA64 measured a 92-98% single-core load.
