Fixing Texture Muddiness
Looking at distant mountains that looked like they were smeared with a rag made me anxious; for a game about the environment, this was a disaster. I tried lowering the resolution to 1080p, which boosted FPS but left the textures blurry, making me feel like I was sacrificing quality for no real gain. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to expand the virtual memory page file to 32GB and locked it to a high-speed SSD partition. GamePP Analysis showed texture latency drop to 45-55ms, while AIDA64 confirmed VRAM temperatures at 75-82℃ and GPU-Z showed 7.8-8.0 GB usage.
