Fixing Gloway Dragon Warrior DDR5 6000MHz stability in Dead Space?
The constant CTDs were driving me insane. I started with the default XMP 6000MHz profile, and while RAM usage was only around 18GB, the game would just vanish to the desktop during heavy lighting scenes in the med-bay. I tried downclocking to 5600MHz, but a 12% FPS hit is a dealbreaker. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor and spotted micro-fluctuations in the VDD voltage at 1.35V. I manually pushed both VDD and VDDQ to 1.4V and locked the tRFC timings. After 5 hours of stress testing, I had zero crashes and a consistent 62ns latency. It was a lengthy struggle with an evasive bug, but I finally managed to set.
