Resolve Days Gone Load Delays
I hated the instant stutters in Days Gone when large creature spawns saturated my memory bandwidth. I tried setting virtual memory to half my disk space, but that worsened the read/write conflicts and made the lag worse. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to raise the queue depth from 512 to 1024 and enabled forced write cache refresh. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads jumping to 55-62MB/s, and HWiNFO kept RAM temps at 45-50℃. This finally set my expectations right and smoothed out the gameplay flow.
