Should I tweak RAM voltage for ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0?
Every time I entered a main hub, the system would just Blue Screen without warning—the uncertainty was genuinely anxiety-inducing. The ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 had default memory voltage swinging wildly around 1.2V, causing parity errors under load. I tried disabling every unnecessary startup app in Windows, but the crashes kept happening, which felt like a complete waste of time. I finally dove into the BIOS, switched DRAM voltage from Auto to a locked 1.35V, and capped the frequency at 2666MHz. In AIDA64 stress tests, the bandwidth stabilized at 12.2-12.8GB/s instead of fluctuating around 10GB/s. I had a couple of cold boot failures early on, but a CMOS clear and re-config fixed it. Memory temps are now 45-52℃ and VRMs are at 58-64℃. After 4 hours of gaming with no crashes, the input response feels way more responsive.
