Solving 4K Power Ripples
I was leaping across rooftops in Kyoto when horizontal screen tears appeared, which was especially jarring at 4K. It felt like my immersion was being ripped apart. I tried limiting the max frame rate to 60 FPS in the driver panel; the tearing stopped, but the input lag increased significantly. To solve this, I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock 'Ultimate Performance' and disabled PCI-E Link State Power Management. My frame time finally stabilized at 11-15ms per RTSS, and the GPU core temperature held steady at 62-68℃ per GPU-Z, while voltage fluctuations stayed within 11.4-11.8V per Multimeter.
