How to optimize Thermalright PA120 V3 fan curves for The Hunt?
It was honestly ridiculous—a top-tier dual-tower cooler failing and letting my CPU hit 95℃, which absolutely tanked my clock speeds. The default fan profile on the Thermalright PA120 V3 is way too conservative, barely hitting 1100 - 1300 RPM before 80℃, which is basically a death sentence for the chip. I tried the BIOS 'Full Speed' mode, but the noise was like a jet engine taking off and the temps still hovered around 88℃ - 92℃—a complete joke of a solution. I switched to the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and set a jump point at 75℃, cranking the fans to 1800 - 2100 RPM. In AIDA64 stress tests, the peak temp plummeted from 95℃ to 78℃ - 82℃, and the boost clocks finally stopped dipping.
