Solving Samsung 9100 PRO overheating in Helldivers 2?

In the middle of a chaotic push, my frames would suddenly plummet from 90 down to 30, and that kind of hitching is an absolute disaster. Checking HWInfo, the 9100 PRO controller was peaking at 82-88℃, triggering a hardware-level throttle that cut my read speeds in half. I tried forcing PCIe Gen4 in the BIOS, which dropped temps by 10℃, but loading times increased by 40%, and I wasn't about to settle for that. Instead, I overhauled my case fan curves to blast air directly onto the M.2 heatsink and disabled PCIe power saving on the motherboard. In HWInfo, the controller finally stabilized between 62-68℃, and speeds jumped back over 10GB/s. The first time I tweaked the fans, it sounded like a jet engine taking off, but a stepped curve fixed the noise. Idle temps are now 38-42℃. After three high-intensity drops, the drops are gone. It's a relief.
