Why is there a 0.5-second voice delay in Metro Awakening on Biostar B350ET2?

Character voices lagged by 0.5 seconds in dialogue scenes, making the story feel comically out of sync per GamePP Audio Latency Monitor. I tried updating the sound card driver, but the latency worsened, which felt hopeless. I used the GamePP Peripheral Driver Conflict Detector to scan for issues and found a priority conflict between the audio service and game process. I disabled the conflicting service. CPU usage then stabilized at 40-45% per Task Manager.
